AgeWell’s unique proposition is the development of a holistic approach which provides a virtual coach to support physical and mental health senior employees and those approaching retirement.
Grounded in advanced psychological models the AgeWell approach combines virtual coaching and social robotics with an innovative personal assistant. It also employs unique well-being software for supporting older adults and helping them plan for and transition into their retirement process.
The application is developed on top of the MEDrecord platform which provided a jump start to development time, ensured a certified secure standard for protecting user data, and allowed for advanced integrated networking and calendaring environments.
European research
The AgeWell project has a budget of € 2 million from which € 1,1 million is invested by the partners and € 900k funded by the AAL programme. The project will take 3 years.
